Shatter

Shatter is a clear, glass-like concentrate that contains no bubbles and “snaps” at room temperature. It is difficult to make due to its low heat requirement and length of time required in a vacuum oven to purge it of its solvent. In shatter, the cannabinoids, terpenes and waxes are all mixed together in one phase and in way that allows light to pass through the molecular structure. The terpene content is typically lower in shatter, as heat and vacuum contribute to the evaporation of these compounds but the visual appeal of the product supersedes its flavor.
