Seventh Annual Charity Classic is a Hole in One for MS Society

There are roughly 14,000 people living with Multiple Sclerosis in the state of Colorado, the largest group of those afflicted in America. That number alone should explain why The Clinic has been raising money for the Colorado-Wyoming chapter of the MS Society for the last seven years. However, we have a deeper tie to the disease as one of our employee’s father’s passed years ago from progressive MS and his wife is currently living with MS. With that in mind, we’re happy to be the largest corporate sponsor for the third consecutive year. This year we raised over $66,000 for the CO-WY chapter with the golf tournament alone. This spring we raised nearly $14,000 at Walk MS, putting our grand total so far at over $80,000 for the 2016.
Movin’ On Up
Within the cannabis industry this has become the not-to-be-missed event of the summer. Our employees say it’s the best day of the year. This year’s Clinic Charity Classic saw a change of scenery from years past. We upgraded in a major way by taking over beautiful Arrowhead Golf Club on Friday, August 26, 2016. Lucky Year Number 7
2016 was by far our best yet with 144 golfers, seven industry-leading dispensaries (who happen to be our direct business competitors), and nine edible companies just to name a few. We can’t seem to thank our sponsors, volunteers and of course golfers enough for such an incredible day. It’s pretty amazing to see the entire industry, competitors and collaborators alike, come together to “attempt to cure evils at their source.”

Now entering our 8th year, the Clinic Charity Classic is the longest running cannabis fundraiser in Colorado since the program was introduced.
